Earth Again is a Cape Town-based business focused on helping individuals, organisations and communities compost organic waste on-site, rather than sending food and garden waste to landfill, where it loses all its value.

We enable people to transform this material into earthy compost, that can immediately support local soil health, food growing, as well as being bagged and sold. 

Beyond infrastructure, we focus strongly on behaviour change and education, helping individuals and communities understand how composting works and how their participation contributes to climate resilience and regenerative urban systems.

    About Tom:

    Since young, Tom has always gravitated towards gardening and green spaces. This inevitably brought him to the life of soil. Growing his passion through learning about permaculture practices and the world of growing plants in syntrophy. 

    At Earth Again, he ensures clients have a broad understanding of how composting works, always making time to chat dirt.

    About Sam:

    Sam has always had a love for the ocean. Growing up in Durban, the ocean was his playground, which led him to become an accomplished surfer. At the heart of his love for the ocean is a fond appreciation of nature and the outdoors. 

    At Earth Again, Sam brought life to this little composting company. His appreciation of the small details, never let a moment go by unnoticed.
